Top performing idols, Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, are a dominating team of idols tasked with bringing about peace and harmony through the power of song. In the midst of a crisis involving the mysterious but ever-prevalent Noise, the girls are also secretly part of another group, S.O.N.G, a foundation dedicated to defending the world and defeating this mysterious enemy for good.

Striking into the field, Kanade and Tsubasa storm onto the stage, dazzling brightly like the stars above. Kanade’s combo cheaply spawns Tsubasa onto the stage from your level zone and stands her while giving one of your other characters a burst of power for the turn. Tsubasa brings out the true pain as she’s a finisher that can continually deal damage without a climax, pinging down your opponent and sending their cards to memory upon reverse (optional). After their flashy entrance, at the start of your opponent’s turn, you can provide two characters power at the start of your opponent’s draw phase with Kanade, mainly herself and her partner.

In order to bring out Kanade early at level two, you need to have the above mentioned Rize profile in clock. This Rize profile checks for the pairing members, adding any character with Kanade [奏] or Tsubasa [翼] in its name.

In the early game, Tsubasa’s combo easily fixes our hand upon reverse while helping us grab our much needed pieces to set-up for the late game.

Aside from our combo, there’s another sneaky play that we are looking to perform with this deck. Our level one game will be mainly loaded with Tsubasa cards for a sneaky trick I will discuss after. For now, these above cards offer some form of utility that benefits our deck. The Tsubasa PR on the left grants power to another character on play, helping bolster and ensure that our level one combo gets its reverse. Our center Tsubasa has two different abilities to choose from at the start of our climax phase: she either gains a clean cut ability or a running ability. The first of which can be greatly benefited by our 1/0 PR. Lastly, our final Tsubasa is a big beater that has a trigger check ability.

Using the main mechanism of Symphogear, we can use this event to cheaply swap any level two or higher Tsubasa on field with any Tsubasa character we have in hand. Obviously, our main purpose of this card is to cheat our 3/2 Tsubasa into play for a cheap cost. However, the question is how do we get this event and why are the 1/0 Tsubasa characters above imperative to our plan?

The reason for this is we have many ways to fetch our much needed cards to hand. Beginning with our deck’s brainstorm, it can seem a bit unconventional, but we are running this brainstorm mainly for its primary ability. This brainstorm grants power and a level in front, but the most important part of this card’s effect is the level. With this, we can cheaply transform any 1/0 Tsubasa into a level two card to make use of the 2/1 event’s conditions. This resolves the first part of our puzzle. The second part is to fetch the heavenly blade for Tsubasa for which we have many means to do so. One of our many options is this Tsubasa on the right that allows us to discard a character to search out Ame no Habakiri from our deck upon reverse while also supplying a friend with additional power for the turn.

Crucial to our game plan, we need ways to keep and make sure that our top performers remain on the stage. This 1/1 level assist Tsubasa will do so and also works on offence itself with the power boost whenever our characters trigger any card with a soul icon. Keep in mind that the power boost from soul icon trigger swill only benefit that of our Tsubasa cards.

Backups are heavily encouraged to maintain our girls’ performances. All these backups have Tsubasa in name, allowing them to be fetched by our effects. The first backup on the left grants us a scry ability on use. Our center backup is a costless backup that grants a large amount of power. Lastly, 2/1 Tsubasa can mill our opponent’s bottom deck on use. Keep in mind that all these backups can simultaneously be considered as targets for our Tsubasa’s piercing blade to transform into copies of our late game cards.
With the power of flame and beauty, no one can match these top idols as they fire up the stage. 1/0 Kanade gains massive amounts of power if 3/2 Tsubasa is in our level at the cost of preventing us from using encore when reversed. 0/0 Kanade is a level zero reverser that can pay a hefty cost to salvage a character card with Tsubasa in its name from our waiting room. 1/0 Kanade, Tsubasa, and Maria on stage is a search Riki profile that also gives power to one of our other cards when it swings. 0/0 Tsubasa striking out allows us to discard a card to search out our event from the deck and letting us discard a climax to salvage a character to hand. 0/0 Tsubasa unsheathing her sword is a global assist that can swap our 3/2 Tsubasa into our level zone. Lastly, Tsubasa showing her back is a cantrip profile that also doubles as a drop search.
With Kanade and Tsubasa, you have the ultimate double combo. Wielding the legendary Gungnir and Ame no Habakiri respectively, there are no enemies these two cannot pierce through.
