Idolm@ster Shiny Colours – L’Antica (R/B) [10/08/2021]

L’Antica is sub-unit formed at 283 Productions. The sub-unit is headed by the ever cheerful leader, Kogane Tsukioka along with members: Mamimi Tanaka, Sakuya Shirase, Yuika Mitsumine and Kiroko Yukoku. They have a dark Gothic design pattern for their sub-unit.

Your finisher will most likely be the climax combo above. As the climax combo implies, based off its damage requirements, many of the cards in the deck will contain the keywords of Alarm and Shift. Although given that the general damage is random, the fact remains that the extra damage is another instance.

To help push for advantage in the early game, the above combo is suggested. Kogane is a 5500 beater during your turn that mills the top two cards of your deck when she attacks with the climax on the right in play. Then you may salvage any Music (音楽) character from your waiting room equal to the combined levels of the cards milled. It’s a pretty simple hand gaining combo, and it does the job.

Now for the fun part of the deck. The plan is to go all in on the Alarm and Shift keyword abilities. To aid with that, the above cards are suggested. The Yuika on the left, ISC/S81-061R, is a level assist that has an ability where once per turn when you use the keyword, Shift, you may give two of your characters the ability to pay a single cost and double trigger for the turn.

ISC/S81-089R, the Sakuya in the center, provides all your ISC/S81-088SSP-SSP and ISC/S81-094R an additional 2000 power during your turn. More importantly, whenever you activate the keyword, Shift, you may pay her costs and check the top four cards of your deck and add any Music character to hand.

Lastly, ISC/S81-090R, the Mamimi lets you lower any of your opponent’s characters front row characters by a 1000 power when Shift is used. She also has the ability to let you pay a stock, place the top card of your deck into clock and tap itself to search your deck for any cards with members of L’Antifa specifically in their name.

The following question to ask is which cards can be used to make use of the Shift and Alarm mechanic. Many of the L’Antifa cards carry Shift, however, the number of Alarm targets are few in comparison. The three cards above are potential options that benefit both as on board playables and Alarm targets.

ISC/S81-063R is probably your main red Alarm target. She’s a power booster only to level threes and above, but her more important effect is her Alarm ability. If you have four or more characters on the stage at the start of your climax phase, you can place the top card of your deck into stock. She can help you repeatedly stock charge ahead of your opponent.

ISC/S81-094SSP-SSP is a very strong beat-stick that denies your opponent’s backups in her battles for a single turn. Her alarm effect lets you perform an Akatsuki-type effect as long as you have five or more cards in hand, letting you essentially filter through your deck.

ISC/S81-091R is a 3000 beater with a relatively annoying drawback. However, it is very unlikely you’ll ever encounter her downside. More importantly, her alarm ability gives you the ability to assign a character the ability to bottom deck their opponent upon reversing them. This can greatly help to rid the board of any annoying sticky threats.

Some other options suggested for the deck are above. The Kogane to the left, ISC/S81-054RR, is a standard early play that is large during your turn. She is also a healer that ditches a card to heal the bottom card of your clock to stock.

The Kiriko in the center, ISC/S81-102C, is a costless beatstick that sits at 6500 power as long as you have ISC/S81-089R on the field.

Lastly, the Mamimi on the right, ISC/S81-069WIR-WIR, is come in play draw and ditch that also pumps any Music character by 1500 when she is played onto the stage by hand.

Interestingly, there are two backup options for the deck which both carry pretty solid filtering effects. The backup to the left, when used as an Alarm, forces you filter the draw up to two cards off the top of your deck to your hand and discard two. The backup to the right lets you filter a card from hand for any character. Both are great defensive options that add to the Alarm/Shift count for the deck.

As always when I can, I’ve given some additional suggestions for the deck above. Remember to fill your deck with Shift and Alarm keyword cards. Your finisher, ISC/S81-088SSP-SSP, is reliant on Shift/Alarm keyword cards being revealed from your deck. Another interesting thing to note, ISC/S81-089R can be fetched from the deck through ISC/S81-076C. Combine the power of L’Antifa and bring down your opponents.
