Arifureta – Hajime’s Horndog Harem (B/G) [02/10/2023]

A great man named Hajime once said, “I don’t care who comes for me. Demon or god, I’ll kill them”. While this quote comes from the absolute edgelord, he has a harem so it must harbour some secret power. Perhaps Hajime’s edginess and harem’s horniness have created some unbeknownst reaction that transcends all known logic and science.

Like how Hajime has converted his edge into an unfathomable power, the members of his harem have unlocked the power that resides within their horniness. Shea’s finisher is a Moca profile that shamelessly checks two cards, and utilizing her brute strength and a bit of luck, she can potentially deal another instance of damage at the end of her attack. At the end of her swing, you reveal the top card of your deck, and if that card has a soul trigger, Shea deals one single point of damage (the revealed card is sent to the bottom of deck).

Kaori’s undying love for Hajime allows her to conjure all sorts of supportive spells to assist her beloved and fellow harem members. For every climax revealed, Kaori’s spammable brainstormer allows you to look up to three cards and add a card from among them, (you must ditch a card after you add a card). Upon meeting her field condition, once Kaori’s climax is played, her combo occurs immediately. Her combo mills four cards and salvages a character whose level is equal to or lower than the total number of soul icons milled. With Kaori’s climax having two soul icons, her combo has the potential to salvage a wide range of targets. Also since the climax has a soul icon (or two in this case), this is another positive target for Shea’s ability.

Tio is an all powerful dragon that’s a glutton for pain and can help accelerate our advantage over our opponent. At the start of your climax phase, her card on the left has an ACCELERATION effect that allows you to look up to three cards and add a character from among them (this effect can also add a specific event but it won’t be used in this deck). While there’s a climax in play, when her stock charger in the middle attacks, she allows you to reveal the top card of your deck and send it to stock if it’s level one or higher. In line with her motherly caring nature, Remia’s back row is a front row assist that is also an Amagi profile to help us keep up in hand advantage.

With both of the combos requiring soul triggers, the cards above are targets for both combo’s effects while providing utility with their own effects. Shea on the left gets immense burst power when she’s played and can attain greater power when she battles a level three or higher opponent. Shea’s card in the center is a stock swap that inflicts a 2000 power debuff to all characters in your opponent’s front row. When Tio’s early play healer attacks, she gains burst power, and if you have a full field, she can gain immense defensive power if you don’t cancel damage during her battle.

Among Hajime’s harem of love-struck mistresses, Myu takes to the stage to keep her big sisters safe. Along with pumping power, her backup sends reversed opposing characters to memory.

To further help her sisters Ryu’s Riko profile is handy in salvaging characters. She can also pump burst power to another character, further assisting in contesting the field. Shea’s level one gains burst power based on your field, but more importantly, she is a J.C profile which can help you loop whichever pseudo combo you like. Shea’s clock bomb can be quite threatening as it is a scaling clock bomb that can punish higher level characters as her effect punishes cards whose levels are equal to or less than the number of copies of itself in your waiting room.

While Hajime’s edginess can carry him through any dire situation, the power of his horny harem is always at his beckon call. While his harem may seem feeble, their infatuation for their man unlocks a power that can surpass celestial beings.
