Weiss Schwarz (ヴァイスシュヴァルツ) is a trading card game produced by Bushiroad Inc. The game focuses upon duels where two players play against each other with decks made from sets from a variety of series from anime/light novels/games, etc. The game is host to over a hundred sets with a variety of customized decks that can be made for play.
Weiss Schwarz products come in many forms such as power-up sets, trial decks, booster packs, special arrangement packs, shop PR packs, etc. However, the main two products which are used to make decks are from trial decks and booster packs.
Trials decks are miniature pre-constructed decks that are ready for play immediately. They often carry potential trial deck exclusive cards that are not found in the following booster set for the series. These decks are usually a good entry for a starting player’s perspective, and I highly encourage players to pick up at least one or two to try and pick up the basics of the game.
Booster packs, on the alternative, are the usual main product building block. Various cards of different rarities are in these packs which when used in conjunction make the main bulk of your deck.
