Hololive – #HololiveGamers (G/Y) [10/04/2021]

Within the set of Hololive, there exists a sub-unit of members consisting of the following: Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, Nekomata Okayu, and Inugami Korone. All of them are animal themed virtual YouTubers representing a fox (Fubuki), a wolf (Mio), a cat (Okayu) and a dog (Korone).

There are many ways to build this deck considering there are multiple finisher and early advantage combos. For this deck profile, the game ending finisher will the combo above. All three cards combo with the exact same climax.

The Mio on the left is a large beater that gains 1000 power for each of your other Hololive (ホロライブ) characters. When you combo with the climax on the right, you may place the top card of your deck into stock and salvage the level three Mio in the center from your waiting room. She essentially pays back her on-play stock cost with the combo while grabbing your level three game.

The Mio in the center, HOL/W91-T073SP-SP, carries a healer Moca-esque profile. She lets you check the top two cards of your opponent’s deck when she swings with the combo to the right and discard any card you’d like to their waiting room. Then she will gain an additional 2000 power until the end of your opponent’s turn.

Both combos above work to help gain hand advantage. The more important part is both cards combo with a bar, thus letting you play around with climax swapping card effects. Both cards gain power during your turn, but the HOL/W91-T032SP-SP is slightly bigger than HOL/W91-036SSP-SSP. HOL/W91-036SSP-SSP does come with the upside of not requiring a reverse for her climax combo effect which lets you choose any card from the top three cards when she attacks to add to hand.

HOL/W91-T032SP-SP does come with a reverse requirement, however, she does let you filter a card from hand to add two Hololive characters from the waiting room from hand. Keep in mind that HOL/W91-T032SP-SP‘s climax combo effect costs do not have to be paid until the reverse condition occurs.

Their respective climaxes are shown below with the left climax for Okayu and the right climax for Fubuki.

The following cards above are suggested as possible options for the deck. The Mio to the left is a global 500 assist during your turn to all Hololive characters. She also lets you check the top card of your deck and place it back whenever another Hololive character is played from hand to stage. Lastly, her final effect, which makes running eight bars so great, lets you pay a stock cost and salvage a HOL/W91-T064TD to hand whenever a climax is played.

The center Fubuki has an ability where when she swings, all of your characters this turn gain the ability to discard a climax whenever a climax is triggered to let you salvage any Hololive character back to hand, effectively turning any bar trigger into an additional character. She’s also a convenient costless clock reverser.

Lastly, the Korone on the right is a level assist with two interesting abilities. She can convert any HOL/W91-T064TD into another resource from either the deck or the waiting room.

Speaking of which, the namesake card of this deck is the card above on the left. This card is a generic check top four and add a Hololive character to hand. Keep in mind, HOL/W91-036SSP-SSP checks top three and adds any one of those three cards to hand with her combo making this a valid target for her combo as well.

The Okayu on the right combos with HOL/W91-T064TD. Depending on how many are in the waiting room when she attacks and the cost is paid, your opponent will then mill cards from the top of their deck to the waiting room equivalent to the number of HOL/W91-T064TD multiplied by six. For example, if there are two HOL/W91-T064TDs in your waiting room, your opponent will then mill twelve cards from the top of their deck. She also gains an additional 2000 power when you play an event.

HOL/W91-038R #絵かゆ 猫又おかゆ

Since you are running events anyway, running the above brainstorm is a free bonus considering any events you play (once per turn) can be used to pump the power of any character on you field by 1000 power. The brainstorm effect is quite nifty too since it lets you check up to top three cards of your deck and add any card to hand including the HOL/W91-T064TD event.

Additional level three options for the deck are provided above. The Fubuki on the left, HOL/W91-045R, is an early play healer that also gains power based on the number of other Hololive characters you have on the stage.

The center Fubuki, HOL/W91-T062TD, is a change card that potentially pays for its own initial come in play stock cost. At the start of your climax phase, you may pay its cost and spawn the HOL/W91-T063TD which is on its right. HOL/W91-T063TD has an ability where when it attacks, you may pay its cost, it gains 2000 power and when it reverses its opponent, you may deal a single damage to them. It also has a defensive effect that lets you grant a character 4000 power at the start of your opponent’s draw phase in hopes to defend them that turn.

HOL/W91-T068TD FAMS 大神ミオ

One last card I’d like to highlight before ending this post is the Mio above. This Mio is a climax discard outlet that works twice both when she is played from hand to stage and when she leaves the field to the waiting room. Being an eight bar trigger deck, having this card can greatly help in dealing with bar flooding issues in hand.

There are a bounty of different options to choose from to build the deck. Remember that though the event, HOL/W91-T064TD, can exchange itself for another card, you can use many different cards in the deck to manipulate that event further. Show your opponent the power of the united #HololiveGamers!
