In a popular famous fairy tale, a young red-haired man blessed by the world itself was visited by the seven witches representing the seven deadly sins. In the original story, there’s something about poison, jealousy, and some weird love story (unless you read the Grimms’ brothers’ version), but this is not Reinhard’s story. Instead, with his handsome smile and dashing good looks and personality, Reinhard charms the witches on his side, creating his own isekai harem fantasy.
Guess who’s back, back again? Reinhard’s back, tell a friend. That’s right. He’s returned. Arriving late game and perfectly on cue, the legendary sword saint arrives in a flash, ready to stomp out our enemies and show them the true meaning of power. Reinhard carries a bodyguard ability, and if he is the sole hero on stage, he gains a plethora of abilities. The following blessings are shown below:
- Reinhard gains +10000 power.
- Reinhard is hex-proof and cannot be reversed by your opponent’s cards AUTO abilities.
- During Reinhard’s battles, your opponent may not play backups or events in response.
- Reinhard may kick any of his reversed opponents to memory.
- When Reinhard reverses his opponent, you may pay his costs and then deal a single point of damage to your opponent.
- Reinhard can run to the center position of your stage at the start of your opponent’s attack phase.
Featured in Re:Zero’s second full booster, the yellow haired fanged sharp-mouthed brat above gives Reinhard further assistance as his thankless mistress. When she barks loudly, you may pay her costs, sacrifice some folks, and then Reinhard will slam himself onto stage at the start of your encore step in her stead.
Also from the second booster, Felt works alongside Reinhard’s grace as our level one early combo that both provides hand advantage and mill through a reversing Maguro combo.
In addition to being our early advantage combo, the little wind rogue also has a secondary interaction with her climax above. Felt here is a freefresher card that requires you to discard her climax and sacrifice her to refresh your deck while letting you search out either a Felt [フェルト] or Reinhard [ラインハルト] character from your deck. And then, on top of all that, you may also search out her level three incarnation and spawn it onto stage while giving that character an additional burst of power for the turn.

So where do our witches come in? Well, beginning with greed herself, we have Echidna above that acts as a tertiary combo for the deck. That’s right; we’re playing three combos. Given how Felt can only ever really combo once to draw out Reinhard, we only need Reinhard’s full combo once. We can gain resources in the early game while we bide out our time for the good red-haired boy. Echidna works perfectly with our plan as a spammable check three, add one brainstorm that also discards while also carrying its own climax combo. Echidna allows us to perform a Riko-esque salvage effect with her combo but based on the number of copies of her climax in waiting room.
Drawing upon the mystical powers of the occult, Echidna’s event is also a key part of our vision to support Reinhard. Echidna’s event sends itself to memory, and at the start of our climax phase, we can discard her associated costs and pay the aforementioned stock to summon a Witch (魔女) from our waiting room equal to the stock paid. Now keep in mind that this can only summon Echidna and her acolytes.
Beginning with Greed herself, what other fantastic individual than to to use the embodiment of desire and unfettered pursuit such as Echidna herself to be summoned by her own Witch event. The primary two pieces of Greed that we need in this deck would be that of Echidna on the left which serves as a hand generator on play that allows your opponent to choose what you gain and then that of our spawner Echidna who can easily bring back copies of our level zero combo piece.

Following in Echidna’s steps, we have some other delightful beauties that are here to join and support Reinhard’s gang. Sekhmet is a backrow supporter that grants power and has an interesting ability to rest herself to give global soul for the turn at the cost of preventing herself from standing the following turn. The ever-kind but punishing Minerva is a secondary finisher that also heals your clock while being impervious to your opponent’s interactions. Lastly, the tiny Typhon, small but dependable, gives an anti-stand ability to one of your opponent’s cheated cards on field while acting as a stock Adachi profile. The witches are here, and they are behind Reinhard, ready to support him at his call.
As for the other two witches, Daphne is a burst powered secondary finisher that lets you burn all your resources for one final attack. Camilla is a beater that can also pay a cost to deny one of your opponent’s cards from moving on the stage, perfect to assist 1/0 Felt’s combo.
The last card to mention is that of Grandpa Wilhelm. Grandpa Wilhelm is Reinhard’s grandfather, but by no means is he feeble or weak. Reinhard’s grandpa is tough and resilient just like his grandson. More importantly, Wilhelm offers a pseudo combo with Reinhard himself. At the end of Wilhelm’s attack, you may sacrifice him to draw and discard a card. This is very good when you consider that Reinhard requires the stage to be empty to gain his plethora of effects. The key way to play with Wilhelm and Reinhard is to have two Wilhelms in the front and a single Reinhard with nothing else on your field. The two Wilhelms will attack first and then sacrifice themselves, allowing you to have an empty field during Reinhard’s final swing while fulfilling his conditions.
Should you find yourself in a bit of a pickle, Reinhard will drop in from the sky with his free backup to defend your characters without any hesitation. Priscilla is an additional counter whose physical presence causes your opponents to tap themselves in reverence.
As for some other supports for the deck, Reinhard’s gang do have a few options to help him in his quest for justice. Echidna staring blankly is a spawn Riki profile. Ryuzu is a drop search profile to grab our comrades. Felt with a sword towards Subaru can grant soul when she direct attacks and also gives additional power to your center character. Felt with her cheeky smile is a mill runner profile to retain hand in the early game. Chibi Felt is a rare draw two, discard one brainstorm. Lastly, Echidna serving tea is a bonder to her Witch event from the deck.
The plan is simple. Reinhard has charmed all the women in the world, an obvious simple feat fulfilled by the most dashing young man to have ever lived. Use the charmed witches and other folks to prepare the path for Reinhard. When it approaches the time for Reinhard to shine, he’ll slam onto the field and prepare a defensive line, looking to have a fair battle and finish your opponent during their turn.
