Mushoku Tensei follows the adventures of the young Rudeus Greyrat, a man from another world who was transported and reincarnated in another fantasy realm following his untimely demise. Seeking change from his previous life, Rudeus is reborn and determined to lead a better existence in this new world. Along the way, he meets, experiences, grows and learns while forming bonds with others.

Each of the colours are further subdivided by character represented by the following: Yellow (Rudeus), Blue (Roxy), Green (Sylphiette), Red (Eris/Ghislaine). Characters also contain their own traits specific to their class such as Swordfighter (剣士) for Eris.
