SpyxFamily – The Forgers (G) [04/25/2025]

The Forgers are a very special family. Usually, a special family means a family with some kind of shared quirk. That may be an inherited or learned trait that is exhibited by both parents and children. However, it’s a little different for the Forgers. Past the bright lights of their beautiful family home lies secret identities. Each of the Forgers keep a special truth hidden from the other family members with only certain members of society even knowing the truth behind who they really are.

Alright, here is your combo. We’re done.

I’m just joking. As a bit of a unique deck profile, the Forgers play around their own special event. By paying its hefty costs, you are allowed to spawn one of each of the Forgers’ true identities onto the field and ignore colour requirements. Furthermore, the Family climax to the right of the event takes the name of the climax combo requirements for each respective Forger. You can even say that this is true family bonding. Yes, with this one event, you can employ Loid’s, Yor’s, and Anya’s combos together on field at the same time. This event can be bonded to by this Anya.

The cards mentioned are the above members of the Forger family that are spawned by the event. Now, through the event, the green climax previously counts for all their combo abilities. Loid has a cancel ping ability, Yor deals a massive shot of damage, and Anya has an enhanced Moca ability. Pick your order of how you plan to initiate their combined attack.

Now, keep in mind that the climax only counts for their respective climax combos with the use of the event. Once the turn is over, as the event sacrifices itself, all three cannot combo again unless you have their respective climax in play. Essentially, this Forger family combo is a one turn wonder.

Yor’s early combo is the perfect accompaniment to the deck. Yor’s combo allows you to salvage any character on attack with her climax, easily netting you any missing piece of the family for the endgame combo or something to use for the next turn. She also allows you to discard a card to trigger twice on attack, letting you make use of extra copies of any bar climax you have in hand or trigger to make more stock.

Now, the most important part of our combo other than getting a hold of the event, is to nab copies of our three finishers. Outside of drawing them naturally and through Yor’s level one combo, the above cards are some great suggestions to cheaply nab the cards you need. Yor’s card lets you perform a free salvage and hand-fix ability whenever she reverses her opponent. 1/0 Anya has a special potential hand-gaining ability, letting you add the top card of your deck when she reverses her opponent if the card is level two or higher. Loid is a double hand-fix profile as he cantrips with the top of your deck and also acts as a Helmet profile.

For the stock costs, both of the parental figures of the Forger household are here to bring home the bread. Loid can turn excess hand into additional stock. 0/0 Yor in the center greatly diminishes the power of any lone card in your opponent’s front row and can go to stock if the damage she takes is cancelled. Lastly, 1/0 Yor looking puzzled stock charges from the top of your deck if she reverses an opponent while a climax is in play.

Since Yor’s combo lets us salvage a character, it is imperative that we mill our deck to create targets for Yor to choose from. Loid with his hat has a free hand gaining ability if you so meet his special condition. If you miss, however, you still get a free mill. Anya is a Rize profile upon reverse, letting you fix your hand and mill your deck at the same time. Loid is an interesting J.C. profile that also has an on-play double surveil ability to fill your waiting room.

Lastly, just before we enter the backup section, we have this golden gem of a secondary finisher. Yes, outside of the original three finishers, you can run this trial deck finisher that works alongside the same climax. You can think of this more like a fail-safe should you be unable to get all your finishers out or want to stall for another turn at level three.

As we come to a close, some special shields we can use to protect our characters are as shown above. Anya ready to share her test results is an anti-change backup that also sacks one of your characters, perfectly fitting for her flunking or near-failing test scores. Loid appearing from the smoke can catch your opponent by surprise by kicking them to memory upon reverse.

As for the rest of the deck, please feel free to fill it out as you wish. Just make sure that you meet the stock requirements for the event and have all three finishers in hand. Keep in mind that the event doesn’t pay for the finishers’ independent costs. Those still have to be paid. Some suggestions we have begin with Anya and Loid above which gives additional soul if it directs and can perform a Kazuma ability. The three members of the family together is an early play healer with a plethora of additional abilities you can choose from. Yor brushing Anya’s hair is a cheap way to add hand at the cost of stock while also being a clock reverser. Anya shining with her first Stella is a mill runner that is also an Amagi profile. Lastly, Yor in her casual outfit gives a card protection from being reversed by AUTO abilities cross-turn on play and is a search brainstormer.

Family bonds keep people close. Family protects and grows together. Even for a makeshift family like that of the Forgers, these same rules apply. And maybe in some cases, the Forgers can really show how family can be formed beyond blood bonds.
