Blue Archive – Angels of Kivotos (Y) [03/30/2024]

Hi → fu → mi → Da → i → su → ki. Those two words are a serenade from the heavens for the those who know. Trinity General School is filled with the most blessed students with beautiful angelic wings reflecting their pure and gentle personalities. The school is lead by the Tea Party, a trio of students who pull strings from the shadows, who work alongside the many other clubs to promote peace and prosperity throughout Kivotos.

Hifumi, the girl of miracles, appears in her summer swimsuit after recounting her adventures with Azusa, Mashiro, and Tsurugi at the beach. Hifumi is an early play combo that spawns extra copies of herself from hand when she’s played on stage. Her combo ability allows you to search up two characters from your deck and place one to hand and the other in stock when you play her climax while giving herself some extra power for the turn. If you can keep Hifumi alive and recycle her combo a few times, you’ll be well ahead of your opponent in the resource race.

To bring out Hifumi early, you’ll need the assistance of Azusa above. Azusa is a level three support with a special costly ability to spawn Hifumi from hand. With the two best friends together, Hifumi will sit at 12500 power during your opponent’s turn, creating a hurdle for your opponent to deal with.

Azusa also appears as the early game combo. Azusa pairs perfectly with Hifumi as she can directly salvage Hifumi or her level two Azusa assist with her combo when she attacks (level two or higher character from your waiting room). Alternatively, if you have the pieces you need, you may also make her invincible during your opponent’s turn, preventing her from becoming reversed.

As for free ways to grab our pieces or generate advantage, beginning with Hinata on the left, she is a stock charger when she attacks with a climax in play, shoving any level one or higher cards that she reveals when she attacks to stock. Reisa is a free drop search that also bottom decks herself to help you grab any character you need. Suzumi is an on-reverse Rize profile, perfect for milling through the deck and fixing your hand at the same time.

Despite their cute outlooks, the Trinity girls can have quite a powerful bite. These two girls above provide additional combat tricks to help you retain field while messing with your opponent’s board or swings. Mashiro lets you decide her trigger off the top two cards of your deck when she swings, but more importantly, she’s a J.C. profile perfect for saving your other characters. Mari is a clean cut profile that could surprise your opponent out of the blue as she gains power whenever an ACT ability is used (that includes backups), letting you potentially save a character as well during your opponent’s turn should they misjudge her innocent appearance.

Given that experience is so essential to the Trinity girls, these two cards above are ways to help alleviate the issue. Serina’s cleansing smile will heal your heart while providing support to your other characters. She can tap herself to swap your level with a character from your waiting room. The Tea Party event on the right calls upon the powers of the highest council in Trinity. When you do, they will beckon your words and provide hand-fixing assistance while letting you also perform a level swap with your waiting room as well.

As for rewards for your high experience count, Mashiro readies her sand bucket in her swimsuit to perform a cheap discard to check three and add one card to hand. The Gorilla Princess arrives in all her grandiose, beauty, and grace. Showing off the true might of the academy’s strongest, Mika steps in to give your opponent a roll cake filled pounding.

As for backups to defend our girls, Shamiko peeks out from her bookshelf as a pseudo-costless backup that refunds her stock cost. Hanae is a Leafa counter that fixes your hand. Koharu sneaks up from behind you and snipes away at your enemy’s forces as an anti-change counter. Keep in mind that looping Hifumi is essential to continue growing your advantages. These backups will act as perfect shields to defend your Hifumi(s) and perhaps even sneaking a cheeky clean cut effect off Mari.

Other supportive students arrive to enter the fray. Hanako underneath the waterfall provides both a rearrangement of the top two cards of your deck on play while being a drop search profile. Nagisa is the check up to three and add one brainstorm of the deck, offering soul support whenever you play a choice climax while helping you dig deep into your deck for cards you need. Ui lets you spawn another character of your level or lower from hand for free when she’s free while giving them some extra caffeine. Additionally, she can toss a wrench in your opponent’s plans by blowing a character on your opponent’s stage back to their hand for a cost. Natsu is an Adachi profile that rids any cheated character on field while having an ability to burn stock to grant her candy powers and extra soul per stock used. Hasumi is a free cantrip that also gains power each time another character swings. Lastly, Hinata is an early play healer if your opponent has a level three on stage that can also grow in size when an ACT ability is used.

Despite being literal angels, the girls are no strangers to the art of warfare. Muster up the members of each club and combine their strengths to show your opponent the dominance of Trinity.
