The adorable mismatched oni twins in Re:Zero are part of the Emilia camp. Their jobs are to cater to their masters, Emilia and Roswall. The oni with the red hair is Ram who is a master when it comes to everything that’s considered household duties which include cleaning, cooking, and the occasional murder of threats. Rem is considered the clumsier sister but far superior when it comes to slaying her opponents.

Rem is out on the beach ready to absorb the sun’s bountiful rays. As long as your field is full of characters with Rem or Ram in their name, Rem gains an additional 2000 power during your turn. Her combo allows you to pay her costs and re-stand herself. Remember that her combo requires you to pay a hefty stock cost on top of discarding a character with Rem or Ram in its name.
Our early advantage combo is the pinnacle of advantage, supplying us with both hand and stock at the cost of life. When Rem reverses her opponent with her climax in play, she allows you to draw a card, stock a Magic (魔法) or Weapon (武器) character from your waiting room, and pump a character by 1000 power for additional reverses for the turn. The cost of life may be heavy, but Rem is a very self-sufficient card on its own, having many ideal effects on a single card.

Because we are running our level 3 Rem as our finish, the above Rize profile is very nice as you can resonate with the level 3 Rem to turn this card into a fairly powerful beater during your turn.
Another unique synergy to the deck lies in the option of the early play Rem to the left. Our Rem support to the right grants an important synergy to the early play. Whenever the early play is reversed, you may pay her costs to rest Rem (effectively retaining her markers) and draw a card, effectively giving Rem an encore ability for a single stock and hand. Since the early play Rem gains power from her markers, she can remain on the field as a constant massive threat while continuing to grow in power each turn if left alone.

Rem’s teary face on the left is an on-play scry with the ability to go to stock whenever your opponent plays a climax. This can synergize quite well with the clean cut in the center which can safely send Rem to the backrow to be sent to stock the following turn. Considering that both the Rems in the left and center give information about the top of your deck, if that card is desirable, you can use Wedding Outfit Rem on the right to ensure you net that card in hand while also pumping power to your field to help with reverses.

Rem also has plenty of additions that help force triggers in your favour or to mill the deck. Rem’s new Shirokuro festival card to the left is a Chiyuri profile for Rem or Ram and can pump a character’s power during the turn that she’s played to stage. Rem’s brainstorm in the middle gives you information on your top trigger at the start of your climax phase. Lastly, Rem on the right is a beatstick that lets you choose your trigger from the top two cards of your deck when she swings.
In terms of other late game options, Swimsuit Rem is a draw two and discard profile with an additional on-attack effect to mill the top five cards of your deck and burn your opponent equal to the number of climaxes milled. Lastly, Rem and Ram in the bath are an on-attack burn equal to the level of the card revealed at the top of your deck as long as the card revealed has Rem, Ram, or Roswall in its name. Given the number of cards we have to manipulate our top deck, we can secure a fair amount of damage with a bit of luck in mind. She can also top-deck a card from your opponent’s waiting room for a cheap stock cost when she reverses her opponent.

Rem’s level 0 is a beater that can provide power on-play or act as a backup in hand to surprise your unexpecting opponent. 2/1 Rem is a Leafa counter that can fix your hand as well. Ram is a costless 2000 counter that can help with some sneaky reversals.
