Deck Protection

I cannot stress enough how important it is to for players to properly sleeve their decks to protect their cards. Listen, you’re probably spending at minimum of fifty and upwards of two hundred dollars for a deck.

Regardless, those cards that you buy with cheap secondary market value or not may carry some emotional sentiment to you. Please sleeve them properly when it comes to play so your cards will be less likely to be damaged.

Sleeving comes in two parts, there is the actual sleeve for which the card is slipped into and then there is an over-sleeve which acts as a protection for the sleeve itself. Weiss Schwarz’s cards are standard sized meaning you should get sleeves that fit those the size of Pokémon cards or Magic the Gathering cards.

The design is completely up to you. Just make sure you sleeve your cards in some quality product that can securely hold your card.

For those who don’t want anime or character designs, I highly suggest dragonshields as an alternative. They are solid sleeves that do the job of protecting your cards well and come in a variety of colours and shades.

The next thing to do is to sleeve your sleeved card in over-sleeves. These transparent sleeves protect your sleeve and preventing it from taking damage or accumulating as much dirt. As you play with your cards, your over-sleeves will get dirty. Buy new ones and switch when it becomes too dirty. No one wants to play with your grime covered cards.

SLEEVE YOUR CARDS!!!
