Below is a short biography of this site’s authors and contributors:
Shoyu (head admin, author) – Shoyu began the game of Weiss Schwarz back in 2013 after picking up their first trial deck in English from an anime convention. After delving deeper into the game, Shoyu met up with a local community whom fostered and grew their passion and experience with the game. Later the following year, Shoyu made more poor buying decisions which eventually spiralled into more and more purchases leading to the giant stack of Weiss Schwarz products lying in their room.
Shio (editor) – Shio started Weiss Schwarz around 2018 with a No Game No Life English trial deck. Shio started to get a bit more into the game around the summer of 2020, gaining experience to eventually slay the demon lord with Bofuri. From then on, Shio fell down the rabbit hole of spending money on anime cards and forcibly making friends in real life. Now Shio works for his slave master overlord and drafts underworldly contracts for articles.
