Franchouchou is such a group. A band of supposedly undead idols, they look to reach out and reach the top of the idol world. The key piece of this deck is the event above. You can have up to seven copies of this event in your deck. The card is a pretty nice filter with the upside of being able to be played without meeting colour requirement (something very essential to note). It is the centerpiece that powers up other cards in the deck.

Yuugiri is the finisher of choice. When she enters the stage from hand, she deals one damage to your opponent if the top card of your deck is a SAGA (SAGA) character or the revenge event. Furthermore, when she swings, you may pay her costs when her climax is in play to do deal another point of damage to your opponent and empower herself until the end of your opponent’s turn, leaving her at an impressive 13500 power without other boosts to hopefully survive until your next turn.

Saki is the early advantage combo of choice. She’s a large beatstick during your turn with a reverse combo to check the top four cards of your deck to add either a SAGA character or the revenge event, sending the rest to the waiting room. This is great since a lot of event synergies rely on the event being in the waiting room. Furthermore, she can demote an opposing card on your opponent’s front row by a level, making it easier for subsequent reverses or to remove an annoying target.

Yuugiri is rather expensive as a finisher. However, fret not, one of the main pay-offs for running the revenge event lies with Ai and Junko above. Both Ai and Junko carry a similar effect of gaining extra stock on-reverse as long as you fulfil a set of conditions. Truthfully, its up to you for which one you’d like to run and how many. You can even run both with a little greed on colours. Ai’s stock gain works cross-turn while Junko’s ability only works with a climax in play. Either way, both are excellent for fueling Yuugiri.

Sakura is a quintessential support for this deck. She’s the glue that keeps the deck running. Firstly, the Sakura on the left is the brainstorm for the deck with another interesting modular effect. Normally, her brainstorm is a tap two salvage brainstorm; however, you can opt to use her other tap self brainstorm effect that checks five cards instead of four and the revenge event instead of climaxes, rewarding you for running the maximum number of copies of the revenge event. The center Sakura is a filter to salvage the event should you need it. Lastly, the Sakura on the right turns all your events into additional soul triggers in the deck while letting you filter the event into a character from your waiting room every turn at the start of your main phase.

Since the deck does have access to yellow, one of the greatest pay-offs as well is the Junko shown above. Junko is an extremely large beater during your turn if you have the revenge event in memory, but more importantly, her resonate effect allows you to refresh your deck for free while powering herself up even more. Lily is an essential piece of deck to help with spawning your characters on the stage, potentially netting extra colours into your clock, and sending herself to stock to help you prepare for Yuugiri’s entrance.

In terms of backups, if you run the 1/0 Ai, they are great as you can potentially cheese some weak opposing swings to both charge extra stock and save your Ai to generate more stock the next turn. Yae is a free 2000 powered backup. Yuugiri is an interesting backup with duo capabilities as a J.C. profile and a backup. Lastly, Junko is an anti-change backup. Keep in mind that these backups can be great opportunities to help fix colours in your deck, so mix accordingly.

Make sure you fulfil your colour requirements. Ai and Junko are great cards to ensure that you have enough stock to accomplish Yuugiri’s combo. Juggling colours can be hard, so make good use of any self-damaging effects like Lily. Use standby to your advantage to bring out certain key combo pieces early, possibly in conjunction with your Yuugiri Amagi. Show the world what it means to take revenge against fate.
