I was tempted to write another post for L’Antica which would mark the third rendition of the unit with another deck profile; however, I decided against it to explore another untouched unit instead. For those who are unaware, Alstroemeria is the genus of flowers more commonly referred to as Peruvian Lilies (thank you Wikipedia). Alstroemeria is the titular name of this three girl unit consisting of Amana Osaki, Tenka Osaki, and Chiyuki Kuwayama. Just like the flowers and their colourful expressions, so do these three girls exhibit their combined personalities to share their beauty and talents to the known world.

The gentle and loving Chiyuki acts as the big sister of the group, taking on the role of their finisher as well. Chiyuki is an interesting finisher that rewards you for keeping her alive turn after turn. She has an innate resonate ability with that of another Tenka card which lets you pay cost and deal damage to your opponent whenever she reverses a character. With her climax combo, she grants herself additional cross-turn power and deals a shot of damage to your opponent as well. If you are able to keep Chiyuki alive for several turns, you’ll be duly rewarded with her smothering love.

The Tenka card that Chiyuki resonates with is shown above. Tenka is a core card important to the deck for several other resonating abilities. On her own, Tenka has a double trigger ability and can bounce to hand when your climax is played to give additional power to one of your characters during the turn.

The dark witch beckons as Amana appears, resonating with her twin sister’s resonator. Amana is the early game combo of choice as she allows you salvage a character with her resonate combo. With her sister resonating with her, Amana also gains cross-turn power. With the newest booster support, Tenka also joins in on the Cherry Jelly action by acting as a brainstorm that also grants an on-reverse ability to salvage to one of your characters (they share the same climax).

As the only direct searcher for Tenka, Amana above is crucial to get on board as soon as possible. Amana also doubles as a drop search for Alstroemeria (アルストロメリア) characters as well. As a reminder, Amana does require you to sack another of her unit mates to search for Tenka.

Some other pay-offs for resonating with Tenka are shown above. Chiyuki descending from the heavens above is a large beater that also acts as a rare Akatsuki profile if resonate her with Tenka. Red Riding Amana is a level assist that can perform a resonate ability with Tenka to mill through your deck for additional hand.

As looping 3/2 Chiyuki is the main goal of the deck, backups are essential in order to make that a guarantee. Classical Maid Chiyuki is normally a 2500 backup, but if you opponent dares to threaten Chiyuki with a climax, Chiyuki gives an additional 2000 power. Tenka is a “costless” backup that refunds her stock usage.
Finishing up with the lilies, Amana’s Clean Cut profile comes first to save her fellow unit mates. In the early game, she can potentially cheat your resonator into the back row to save Tenka with a bit of luck. Amana looking at the aquarium tank is a climax swapper also gains free-running if you resonate her with Tenka. 2/1 Amana staring at the sky allows you to refund her stock cost if you reverse a level two or higher character and can resonate with Tenka for more burst power. Tenka relaxing in the car is a Riko profile that can salvage your other characters. Amana in the maid outfit is an early play healer that can get cross turn power if you resonate her with Tenka. Lastly, Chiyuki is a bonder to a card we do not run here that is also a Helmet profile.
The humble beauty Alstroemeria begins its life as a simple tuber, akin to that of the classic potato. Slowly, with delicate care, they emerge from their spud form and transform into the beautiful flowers full of different speckles and shades. Just like their namesake unit, so do these girls rise above and showcase their colourful talents.
