In a tie for first, the strongest assassin, Yor Forger, is stuck in a stalemate with the worst spirit (Nightmare), Kurumi Tokisaki. As the strongest assassin, Yor “takes out” any target that is requested of her. Nicknamed the “Thorn Princess”, Yor is a renowned combatant with perfect agility and unparalleled strength. As a caring older sister as well, she performs her duty for the sake of protecting him from the dangers of the world. However, as a bit of a personal demerit, Yor seems to lack just a little bit of common sense…

Yor clad in her black dress is ready to assassinate any target, which, by this contract, is your opponent. When she attacks with her combo, Yor can pay a cheap cost and deal a large burst of damage. And then, at the start of your encore step, if Yor is still alive, Yor will switch to her civilian form that lets you discard a card to heal to stock. Conversely, once your opponent’s turn has passed, and if her civilian form is alive, she transforms back to her finisher form.

For the early game, in preparation for her final act, Yor’s combo above allows you to salvage additional weapons for the later game by murdering her opponent in cold blood. In addition to salvaging pieces for your game plan, Yor can also grab the 2/1 event above that can spawn your finisher Yor as early as level two from hand.

To achieve more resources, the two Yor cards above are some options to maintain hand. Yor on the left acts a support that lets you gain extra hand by paying cost and a bit of life every time one of your characters trigger a climax. Yor combing her daughter’s hair is a cost zero clock reverser that allows you to pay her cost on attack and potentially netting hand if you mill a character (up to twice an attack).

In terms of ways to filter hand, Yor employs her tools above to cut through the chaff and get to her target. Yor’s trial deck card on the left lets you hand fix for free with your waiting room when you reverse any character. Level one Yor is a drop search on play that also has an additional memory flush ability. Lastly, Yor holding out her signature golden knife is a spawner profile that pays additional hand instead of stock to bring out a character of your level or lower from your waiting room.

Yor does also come with two different brainstorms for you to pick and choose. Yor in her civilian outfit is a search brainstormer that also grants a character protection from reverse based auto abilities on play. Yor in her assassin outfit is a check three, add one brainstorm that has an on-play surveil ability. Mix and match as you like or even play both.

To defend Yor, Yor has a counter of her own to slap back at your opponent. Yor’s counter refunds her stock cost from the top of your deck while keeping her characters alive.
Other Yor-tastic cards that would fit well to purge your opponents begin with 1/1 Yor which gains power on your turn and cannot be reversed by cost zero cards. Yor with her family is an early play profile with a modular on-play ability to either heal, refund a stock from the top of your deck, or give itself an additional amount of burst power for the turn. Yor in her kicking pose lets you remove another level zero character on your opponent’s stage in their front row when she reverses her opponent. Yor’s alternative level three has an ability where when she attacks, you reveal the top card of your deck and if that card is a character, you may deal additional damage equal to that card’s level. Yor’s 1/0 looking shocked is a stock charger on reversing a character if you have a climax in play. Lastly, Yor smiling decreases the power of a character on your opponent’s front stage if they have one or less character on field, and as a bonus, if she cancels damage, she bounces to stock.
