When you hear thunder, lighting will follow. Take comfort while the thunder god draws breath; he will reel in the antics of the ice giant, Thor’s adoptive younger brother. As anyone with siblings would know, any good brotherhood requires a healthy amount of roughhousing and is made better when godly powers and weapons are thrown into the mix.

Thor Odison makes his grand entrance onto the stage with a thunderous roar. Channelling godly powers through his signature hammer, all in opposition will be smitten by divine lighting. Thor’s on-play effect allows you to search your deck for a character or an event named “Mjölnir” [ムジョルニア]. As he is striking down his opponents, Thor’s combo deals damage equal to the number of Mjölnir events in waiting room. Thor’s can modulate the damage dealt during his mighty assault by holding back this hammer tosses or launching them harder if need be.

The greatest gift from Odin himself. Only a select few are worthy enough to wield Mjölnir’s legendary might. To play this event, you must have a character with “Thor” [ソー] in its name on stage, and when this condition is fulfilled, you can choose to perform one of two effects. The first effect paralyzes your opponent’s characters with a powerful shock preventing them from being sent to memory, moving on stage, or from bouncing to hand. The second effect performs a Cigarettes effect and unleashes Mjölnir’s hidden strength by bestowing burst power to a selected character.

To prepare for Thor’s god-slaying smite of lighting, he must begin to channel the required voltage through his Asgardian blood. When Thor attacks with his climax in play, he performs a Minami combo that targets both characters and the Mjölnir event.

Though they may bicker often, the Asgardian brothers are among the few who can wield the true power hidden within Mjölnir. Thor’s on-play effect allows you to look up to four cards from the top of your deck and add an event among them while discarding a card. Loki’s on-play effect allows you to ditch an event to salvage a character; in addition to this, he also lets you scry or surveil the top card of your deck.

Being the god of mischief, Loki possesses a multitude of tricks that can help us empower our forces and conjure the characters we need. Loki on the left is a backrow assist that pumps immense power to level zero characters; he can also send himself to waiting room to perform an Akatsuki effect. Loki brandishing his daggers performs a Rize effect when he’s sent to waiting room and his on-play effect pumps power to a character of your choice. To help search for his brother and other “friends”, Loki’s backrow support on the right has a hefty cost to search for a character.

In service to protect the innocent or to banish those who prey on the weak, let it be known that all will bear witness to Thor’s strength. Thor posing with his fellow heroes is an anti-change backup that sends the targeted early-play or cheated character to stock. Thor throwing Mjölnir mills the bottom cards of your opponent’s deck, the number of cards milled based on the number of characters you have on stage.
With Thor’s might and Loki’s trickery, when push comes to shove, the brothers can make for quite the duo. Thor and Loki bickering possess an on-play effect that allows you to salvage a climax. Thor spinning Mjölnir is a level zero reverse that sends opponents to stock while also giving power to a character on your field on play. Thor in The Dark World has an on-play scry effect and is a brainstormer that checks up to three cards and adds one among them for each climax hit. Thor unleashing lightning mills two on play and gets power for each character milled, and he can cheaply spawn a level zero character from waiting room for a cheap discard cost. Loki posing in front of his statue is a one-turn hero early play that gains a hefty amount of burst power and can send his reversed opponent to memory while also sending himself to memory at the of turn. Thor channelling lighting is a stock swap profile that has an immense amount of soul.
Though they may be at odds when the occasion arises, the brothers will begrudgingly team up against their opposition. Putting aside their differences for a brief moment, the brothers jump into the heat of battle. Let it be known while the godly brothers draw breath none shall threaten Asgard.
