On a chilly day like today, the Flame Emperors are hit with an insatiable hunger, and there is only one thing that can fill the bottomless pit in their stomach. It may be a little cold, a brisk negative 13 degree Celsius, but they know what must be done. They must brave the frigid northern winds to attain the revered food from the country of the free men, God-blessed barbeque from the U.S of A.

Mii is leading the charge on this arduous journey to the land of freedom. She may not look it but she is a connoisseur of the American culture, up there with legends like Moist Critical, Senator Armstrong, and TF2 Soldier. Channelling her American pride when Mii’s finisher is played through the on-play or trigger effect of her climax, you may discard three characters to stand her.

Now to answer an important question, at a barbeque what food is superior? Hamburgers or hotdogs? Some may pick a side, but a true patriot like Mii knows that anything put on the grill should be accepted and eaten. Mii’s salvage brainstormer continuously pumps 1000 power to any level zeros in the center slot, and we’ll use this power pump to bolster our early game offense. Shin of the hotdog legion is a high powered chaser, but prevents your characters from side attacking. Marcus of the hamburger squad is a level zero reverser that also prevents an opposing character from returning to hand or being sent to memory.

What’s a good barbeque party without a good rack of ribs? While Maple is not part of the Flame Emperors, she can’t let a fellow patriot barbeque without putting some ribs on the grill. Contributing to Mii’s cookout, Maple’s combo kicks the grill into high gear with a couple of spicy effects. At the start of your attack phase, if Maple is in the front row, you may discard a copy of herself and send her climax to waiting room, and if done so, you can stand a character and salvage a character.

With ribs ready to serve the hungry gang lines up, and while everyone enjoys a freshly grilled rack, they all have their side dish of choice. Enjoying her ribs with corn on the cob with butter, Sally is a Time Machine profile that helps us secure a swinger for the following turn. With a serving of mac and cheese, when Misery directly attacks, she sends a character from waiting room to stock. Maple and Sally share a rack with a slice of cornbread, and when they are attacked, you can pay their cost to prevent them from getting reversed.

As good visitors should, when stepping on sacred BBQ grounds, they pay respects to Uncle Sam by bringing ample food to grill. At the beginning of your opponent’s attack phase, if you pay her cost, Maple’s Pina profile can retreat to backstage. Sally in the center can bounce back to hand if you cancel damage during her battle while additionally granting her immense power if she’s the only character on stage. Sally on the right has an on-play scry effect and plays a little game with your opponent. Your opponents will declare a number between zero to three and then you mill the top card of your deck; if the level of the milled card is equal to the declared number, you draw equal to the declared number plus one.

After slapping a tomahawk steak on the grill, Maple must face the incoming heat, anything to get that excellent sear and medium rare perfection. To help survive the incoming fire, Maple’s backup is an anti-change backup that sends early played opponents to memory.

As the sun begins to set after a long day of grilling, it’s time to sit back and crack open a cold one with the gang. Misery is a brainstormer that salvages climaxes; additionally, she pumps power whenever one of your characters is reversed. Maple chomping down is a Chiyuri profile, this can help us mill the deck and fill our waiting room with standby targets. Mii preparing for flight is a drop search that can debuff an opposing character’s power. Maple getting hit is a vanilla beatstick with hand encore. Mii with her blade can cheaply spawn a level zero character from waiting room. Mii shrouded by flames is another beatstick that traps an opposing character preventing them from bouncing to memory or hand.

As the grill’s flame dies, it marks the end of another day of patriotic barbequing. As the gang look to the skies with stuffed bellies, they can hear the call of a bald eagle in the distance. Surely the call is a sign from George Washington himself, letting them all know they have made the United States proud.
