There were quite a few interesting announcements made for the recent Weiss Schwarz presentation. Not too many new sets were announced this time, but a rather unexpected revival did come up that could potentially shake the game up a bit. There were also several changes to the ban list, some that were predicted and others that were interesting. Regardless, there were several release dates revealed for previously mentioned sets.
We will be giving an announcement and our thoughts on the ban list in a separate post.
A special tournament will take place during August that will feature a LycoReco only participation cup for select stores. Players will receive a participation prize in the form of a PR pack.
PR packs will be given as a participation prize to all who enter the Uma Musume Weiss Schwarz Cup happening from August to September 2023 in select shops.
New shop PR packs will contain the five promotional cards shown above. Make sure you participate in your locals so you can potentially snag one of these precious cards.
Alice Gear Aegis has a release date set for its trial deck and booster pack coming out on October 13th. Get ready for the whimsical adventures of the Actresses who work to defeat the evil Vice.
Honoka, Chika, Ayumu, and Kanon make a fabulous return. The set date for them to take the stage has been announced on October 27th. Make sure to catch the idols while you can.
Make sure to catch up with Matsuri and Suzu’s adventures. Matsuri’s uncanny transformation into a woman complicates his further goals of uniting with Suzu as a couple. You’ll just have to watch to see what troubles the two will face. Their trial deck and booster will release on Nov 23rd.
Uncover the mystery behind Ai’s death with Aqua and his sister Ruby. Who was it that brought the young and shiny star to the grave? Aqua goes on a tale of vengeance and revenge to discover the truth. Oshi no Ko will release on Dec 8th with its own trial deck and booster pack.
Bang Dream x My Go!!! will drop on Sep 29th as a new trial deck plus. Be sure to try out the new band and see what they can offer. Come and support My Go!!!.
Enter the world of Yohane’s delusions fantasies as she traverses the magical world along with her fellow idol companions. Featuring the Love Live! Sunshine! cast in an alternative setting, the girls go on frequent adventures full of fun and frolicking. It will be released with a trial deck and booster on Nov 10th.
The infamous flame haze is back, now with a full announcement on the release date for her premium booster on Oct 20th. Make sure to pick up the product and relive the days of Shana and Yuji’s struggles against the mysterious creatures of the void.
In an unexpected turn of events, King of Fighters, one of the oldest sets in the game, is receiving a new premium booster on Sept 22nd. Join several fighters as they enter the legendary KOF tournament to show off their skills.
