Love Live! Anniversary Poll Results

Hello friends and fellow fans of Love Live! We have tallied the results and are ready to announce the winners. Love Live! has been a dear series to our hearts here at ClockOneDrawTwo, beginning with its humble origins in 2010 with the original crew at Otonokizaka High following the stories of Honoka Kousaka and her friends. Since then, the series has expanded to include multiple other series each featuring their own unique protagonists carrying interesting personalities.

This poll ran from April 18th 2023 to April 30th 2023 on various social media platforms.

Poll for Love Live!

For our first winner from the original series, we have Maki Nishikino in first place with 22.4% of the vote, followed by Nico Yazawa in second place with 20.7% of the vote and finally a tie between both Umi Sonada and Kotori Minami for third place at 12.1% each.

ClockOneDrawTwo’s Favourites for Love Live!:

Shoyu: My personal favourite is Kotori Minami of course with her newly reprinted brainstorm being the signature card. This is the third print of Kotori’s brainstorm interestingly enough. I highly rate the original promotional card that came with the sleeves as the third best art outside of the signs. I do really appreciate the new swimsuit art for the FP rarity.

School Swimsuits: It’s hard to compete with Rin. Rin will always be my favourite and close to my heart. There’s just something about her headstrong personality that I adore. She’s also very sweet on the inside which is a trait of hers I feel is often overlooked. The event is essentially a reprint of Sayaka’s Wish, a consistently powerful effect that both compresses you and heals you down.

Miso: Like no cap, Kotori is the best. I wasn’t put on duress or anything to make this statement. Maki is my second favourite. Boss says I need to put more than “Maki is best girl”, but what can I say? She’s perfect. If you ever look in the dictionary for the word “perfection”, you’ll find a picture of Maki attached instead.

Poll for Love Live! Sunshine!

Our winner for the Love Live! Sunshine! round begins with Yoshiko Tsushima taking over first place with over a quarter of the votes at 25.5%. Second place is a tie between that of You Watanabe and Riko Sakurauchi each at 16.4%. Third place goes to Dia Kurosawa at 12.7%.

ClockOneDrawTwo’s Favourites:

Shoyu: Kanan is my girl. From the very moment I met her in the anime, I knew she would be my favorite. Design-wise, I love her outwardly personality. She reminds me of a dolphin with her overly friendly demeanor. I think this 1/0 support card of hers is just such a perfect display of her character along with her graceful smile.

School Swimsuits: Hanamaru is my favorite because she is my deity. When I look upon her, I see salvation for my lonely empty soul. She looks simply like an angel as she carries her book as a bishop. Just the art alone is like she’s healing me from the inside out.

Miso: Yoshiko and I are so much alike. Back in my former life, I was but a sheep and Yoshiko was my shepherd. I remember those long nights when she would cuddle me, resting her head against my soft wool as we stared together into the stars, dreaming of a better life. Some nights when I stare into the empty abyss in the sky, I can see a twinkling reminder of her.

Poll for Love Live! Superstar!

Claiming the spot for first is Kanon Shibuya rocking 35.2% of the votes, over a third of all the votes. Second place is a tie between that of Sumire Heanna and Keke Tang at 20.4% each. Third place stays with Ren Hazuki at 14.8%. Keep in mind that we decided not to include the updated members due to a lack of card options. Maybe our poll here will change in the near future as future support gets added for them.

ClockOneDrawTwo’s Favourites:

Shoyu: I’m a tad disappointed that nobody recognizes the brilliant star known as Sumire Heanna. She’s dorky but adorable and sweet at the same time. My favorite card for her is the runner drop search shown above. It’s a pretty unique profile stacking two very useful effects on the same card. Furthermore, I love this art more than the other version (Superstars has alternative prints of the same card) because it so firmly displays Sumire’s star-like personality. My favorite part is her hand gesture that really screams “GALAXY!”.

School Swimsuits: Keke is so cute. The ice cream cone just looks so silly combined with her usual goofy expressions. I genuinely think this card is gorgeous on top of being a very good card. I love her effect as a top check that also helps with filtering climax triggers. I really love how this card really speaks to Keke’s outlook. She’s adorable, cute, and funny.

Miso: Kanon is canon. She’s quite literally picture perfect. Shoyu has been trying to convince me for some time that Sumire is best. Given that I’m basically blind, I can’t really agree with him. When I open my dysfunctional eyes, all I can catch is that glimmer of beautiful orange hair. I’m sad when I imagine being in Kanon’s universe. I’m pretty sure she would never even glance in my direction.

Poll for Love Live! Nijigasaki!

Setsuna Yuki takes to the stage in first place with 21.8% of the vote. Following closely behind her is the grand diva herself, Karin Asaka, with 18.2% of votes. Lastly, the ever lovely Kasumin, Kasumi Nakasu, takes third place with 12.7% of the votes. Unfortunately, due to lack of cards, we weren’t able to make waifu decks this time around. However, there’s always hope that this can change in the future as more support is added.

ClockOneDrawTwo’s Favourites:

Shoyu: Okay, I know what you’re all thinking. Listen, Karin is both powerful and beautiful at the same time. I won’t say what my favorite feature is, but I can presume the readers can figure this one out. Karin is best. I was a little saddened that Ai didn’t get that many votes. I love Diver Diva!

School Swimsuits: When I first saw this card in All Stars! (Love Live! mobile game), I knew that this would be my favorite art. There’s just something that speaks to me about the way that Ayumu’s position in the art looks. The awkward angle makes the card looks more silly than it already is. I also love Ayumu’s soft-hearted nature. She’s such a good girl.

Miso: I admit it, I’m the living definition of basic. But hear me out, Setsuna is literally my god. Tomori’s voice is just so powerful and strong. When I look at Setsuna, I feel like I’m in a better place somewhere by a cliff near the ocean staring at the sunset. I can hear her voice which I set as my ringtone every morning, driving me forward towards my dreams.

And that is the conclusion of our poll. I hope you enjoyed the poll. We once again congratulate the winners of our poll: Maki Nishikino, Yoshiko Tsushima, Kanon Shibuya, and Setsuna Yuki. We hope you enjoy our deck profiles and continue to support us.
