Love Live! Sunshine! – Guilty Kiss (Y/B/R) [01/10/2023]

The unit of Guilty Kiss is composed of the three spectacular idols: Riko Sakurauchi, Yoshiko Tsushima, and Mari Ohara. Together, the girls combine their voices to create a group with a particular bold and powerful image.

Yoshiko is the shining finisher of the deck. Her finishing ability lets you pay her costs on swing to deal a single damage and grant her 4000 power for the turn. Keep in mind, her conditions state you deal one point of damage and gain 4000 power for each duo set of characters with either [Riko], [Yoshiko], or [Mari] in their name, meaning a full field of Guilty Kiss characters will net you two instances.

Outside of her combo, Yoshiko is also important as the main resonator target for the deck.

Mari is the early advantage engine for the deck. When she reverses her opponent with the climax on the right in play, she gains the ability to bounce herself and up to one other card on your field when she is fronted. To help make her reversals easier, she can resonate at the start of the climax phase with Yoshiko to pump up her own power.

To help push for advantage in the early game, the following cards above are highly suggested. Mari is a stock charger that gains its ability when you use an ACT effect. Considering the high costs of the Yoshiko finisher, Mari is highly suggested to generate the stock needed for her combo effects. The Riko in the center is your pseudo brainstorm, resonating with Yoshiko to nab a character from the top four cards of your deck with either [Yoshiko], [Riko], or [Mari] in its name. She’s also an on-play climax discard outlet to salvage a character. Lastly, the Riko to the right is a global assist and power pump (once per turn when you resonate). She carries a pseudo combo alongside Yoshiko’s climax to hand fix by discarding a card.

Mari is a nice late game level assist for the deck that’s essentially an upgraded version of the 0/0 Riko. She gives a larger power boost on resonate use and her combo lets you turbo charge stock from your waiting room instead of hand filtering. Yoshiko in the center is an on-reverse Rize for only Guilty Kiss characters. Lastly, Riko is an early play that heals to stock while also resonating with Yoshiko for more power.

Mari is a nice backup to use, mostly for its primary effect. In a pinch, Mari can be used to search out any character from you deck to help you set-up for the later game and maybe snag a few reverses for the 1/0 Mari stock charger.

There are multiple options to choose from when adding to the Guilty Kiss unit. 3/2 Riko is a great addition as a Fumio to force out a compressed deck. 1/0 Mari is great as a potential way to maintain hand and also scry your deck. Given that her ability on reverse can fail, you can use the combo 1/0 Mari as a way to ensure she can return back to hand as well. Stock up your deck as you push for the endgame. Make sure you have full field to wreck your opponent with the power of Guilty Kiss.
