In the special announcements taking place this fine morning, Bushiroad has announced a number of upcoming titles to join our wonderful card game. As such, we here at ClockOneDrawTwo will be providing information broadcasted on the livestream as well as giving some background information for each series.
Beginning with Hololive Production Vol. 2., Hololive receives further support beyond it’s initial booster and premium booster support. They will be receiving another full booster releasing on March 24th. Keep an eye out and get ready for another year of dazzling Vtuber idols!
As Disney reaches its hundredth year anniversary, the media giant celebrates its century old achievements with a release in the game of Weiss Schwarz as a full booster. Various famous childhood stories and re-imagined fairy tales are brought to life with Disney’s animation magic. Starting on April 7th, get ready to be dazzled by the truly wonderful and bizarre.
Furthermore, a special plaque can be bought from the Bushiroad Online Store from January 10th to February 12th. There will only be a hundred of these items in stock and the item pack includes a platinum card, a normal card, and an acrylic stand. The total cost will be 1000000 yen (tax included).
Joining the roster will be the upcoming animated series of Ayakashi Triangle. Following the childhood friends of Matsuri Kazamaki and Suzu Kanade, the two are capable of seeing the dangerous and interesting ayakashi that travel through the streets. Upon a particular incident, Matsuri Kazamaki is afflicted with a curse, transforming him into a woman. Now both Matsuri and Suzu must work together as they go through their comedic adventures in hopes of returning him to his masculine form. This series is written and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki, artist of To Love-Ru and Black Cat. Release date is currently unknown.
Loveable idols of the Love Live! series are getting further support. Get ready for more cards to join the card pools for the girls of µ’s, Aquors, Liella, and members of the Nijigasaki School Idol Club. The set will be released as a premium booster set on April 15th.
Alice Gear Aegis Expansion kicks it into high gear as it joins the fray. Alice Gear Aegis Expansion is an adapted anime series based on the same mobile game of the same name. The girls of the series (called actresses) put on their specialized gears as they face off against mechanical foes that threaten the peace of the universe. The set’s release is currently unknown.
Lycoris Recoil (LycoReco) dashes right into the center of the spotlight. Nishikagi Chisato and Inoue Takina are two members of a secret society of young girls (Lycoris) that regulate and ensure peace. Following an incident in the field, Takina is exiled to Cafe LycoReco where she joins up on adventures with the ever excitable and energetic Chisato. LycoReco will be getting both a trial deck and booster box release on June 2nd.
Hiding in the shadows, existing in the darkness unseen by humanity, the Forgers adopt secret identities while appearing as a normal family. Embarking on missions to protect the peace of society and ensure war doesn’t happen between the East and the West, the Forgers must make sure to perform their secretive jobs while maintaining their disguises. SpyxFamily’s release date is currently unknown. This set will also be getting a simultaneous release in English as well.
Lastly, Puzzle & Dragons (PaD) was the final set revealed within the announcement. One of the most famous and oldest ongoing mobile games in Japan, Puzzle & Dragons is a jewel matching game where players must match jewels in rows of three or more to score multiple combos and defeat monsters. The game is notorious for its numerous collaborations with several characters from all kinds of series such as that of Persona 5 and Monster Hunter. PaD will be joining the game with both a trial deck and booster box beginning on May 19th.
