No Game No Life – Immanity and Elf Alliance (G) [10/15/2022]

Close friends, Chlammy Zell and Fiel Nelvaren are two members of different races who work together to better the lives of their fellow kin. Although Chlammy is technically a slave to Fiel’s family, Fiel treats her much more like that of a family member, going out at any cost to protect her. In fact, their bond would go as far to Fiel openly stating she’d rather forfeit her entire family and race if it would protect Chlammy.

Shown above is the endgame for the deck with a pretty picturesque scene that solidifies Chlammy and Fiel’s friendship. Both cards use the same climax and have two different roles. Starting with Chlammy, Chlammy is a clock finisher with the climax in play and an on-play searcher for a character from your deck. This means you can use a single Chlammy to potentially net all the other pieces on your board, including multiple finishers. Fiel is a level assist with a nifty ability to force your opponent’s characters into an empty spot, ideally in front of Chlammy to clock kick. Your opponent won’t be able to simply get away by sacking their field before the turn Chlammy enters the stage.

Panicking Chlammy is our choice for the early game combo. Chlammy is a Yunyun profile which works perfectly to both charge up for the late game stockwise and potentially refill hand. Fiel is also a bonder to Chlammy while also acting as a power pump when she attacks, helping ensure that Chlammy gets her reverse condition.

In addition to Chlammy’s level one combo, this engine above helps to push advantage throughout the game. Starting with the event itself in the center, this is one of the main ways to maintain hand advantage as this card can potentially net two cards to hand, both replacing itself and giving you one more hand if you fulfill its check condition. It also conveniently sends itself to memory, helping to compress your deck further.

The Chlammy to the left is the bonder to the event with a nice check two and rearrange ability on-play. This works very well with the event to ensure that you can gain hand through its ability. The Chlammy on the right gains an additional soul and power as long as the event is in memory while possessing hand encore. This can be used in a number of ways to both push your opponent for damage or side with a lesser penalty.

In place of brainstorm, Izuna will be our main source of milling. She does cost a hefty double tap to use her check three and a single character to hand ability, but this pairs extremely well with our Chlammy support to the right. Chlammy is an assist to your level zero cards or lower which helps bolster your early game and some other synergies. Her second ability helps you search your deck for its heavy two stock cost whenever you level up, letting you maintain hand and to potentially pay out any blind-stocked climaxes from bar triggers or your level one combo.

Before wrapping up this post, I’d like to make note of the 1/0 Fiel here. 1/0 Fiel has a demerit on stage of losing a level and requiring a Chlammy on the board to stand during yours stand phase. Her first condition is important because, as a level zero, she does gain an additional 1000 power from your Chlammy support, making her a crossturn 7500 beater for zero cost if she’s in front of Chlammy.

Counters are a decent option for this deck as your 1/0 Fiel(s) can get fairly large. Saving a Yunyun combo and then looping it on the following turn is also great to create more resources. Since Fiel’s counter is a level 1 card, it is also an option that can be added to the hand through 1/0 Chlammy.

As for some suggestions, Fil is a great card above that can help spawn field advantage. Furthermore, given the powerful Chlammy support, Fil can potentially turn your other large beaters into formidable early game threats. Chlammy in the center is a free 4000 powered beatstick with a slight downside. The chibi Chlammy is an interesting card that loses two levels on stage, working very well with our Chlammy support too.

Fil and Chlammy, despite being master and servant, are really more like sisters who deeply care for one another. Use their bonds to light your path to victory.
