Date A Live – Yoshino/Natsumi Combo (G/B) [08/06/2022]

Yoshino and Natsumi are considered to be the youngest spirits amongst the girls of Shido’s harem. Despite their innocent natures and outlooks, Yoshino and Natsumi are often found to be the most reliable and helpful in multiple situations. Loving nothing more than chasing the antics of youth, the young girls join the likes of the other girls as they experience the joys of growing up together.

Natsumi is the finisher of deck. Changing to her alter grown up form, this Natsumi offers the player protection with a negative two soul ability and hexproof protection with her combo. Keep in mind that you must have at least four or more field to gain these effects. Furthermore, she does a modest point of damage after gaining these abilities until the end of your opponent’s turn.

Yoshino’s combo above is the early advantage for the deck. Yoshino has a modular ability to either add hand or demote a character on your opponent’s stage.

The pairing has a plethora of ways to generate hand advantage through the use of discarding hand or working with bar triggered effects. The mini Natsumi to the left is a duo filter with the first ability to filter for the level 1 Yoshino combo specifically. She’s also a nice filter whenever a bar is triggered, letting you filter a card from hand into a card from the top two cards of your deck. The Natsumi in the center is a beater with a nice ability to gain double trigger should you hit a bar trigger, letting you pay out the bar and generate more damage or stock potentially. Yoshino is an additional bar filter with power assisting effects.

Origami isn’t a young child, but she acts as one of the older role models for the girls. She’s an extremely good filter to discard extra bars or cards in hand for other characters in the deck both on-play and on-swing the turn she’s played. The Yoshino in the center is an interesting Adachi profile with the ability to swap places with your other characters on stage. She can be used to potentially save your combo pieces or other characters. Lastly, the trio to the right is a nice filter to potentially grab anything off the top three cards of your deck.

One last card to mention before we enter the last stage of the deck is the Yoshino above. She’s an interesting alarm that can be constantly used to refresh your deck.

In terms of backups, both Natsumi and Yoshino play a pivotal role in defence. Natsumi is a memory kick counter, but whereas your usual memory kick counter comes out at level 2, Natsumi comes out at level 1, letting you potentially rid your opponent’s early advantage pieces forever. Yoshino is an antichange that works very well with her discard cost to get rid of climaxes from hand.

There are many options to run with the deck. The deck has multiple ways to filter out climaxes, so feel free to mix and match, changing ratios to fit the ideal deck you like. There’s also an additional Natsumi that works alongside the 2/1 Yoshino support that can be used as an additional beater if you’d like. Use the power of these young girls to bring you victory!
