Chizuru, a mysterious beauty clouded with two different identities, works part-time as an elusive “rental girlfriend” to Kazuya while being a hard-working student with another appearance. Paired by fate, she finds herself interlocked with him while she works to support her grandmother’s happiness and pursue her dreams of becoming an actress.

Chizuru quickly switches her mode with the use of the event in the center, changing into her grand self in on the left. Chizuru’s finisher deals a bit of damage, and then she gains the nice ability to bouncing herself back to hand during your opponent’s turn if she is front attacked, giving you another potential healer and chance to combo again the following turn.
Chizuru’s early advantage combo is shown above. Upon reversing her opponent with the climax on the right, Chizuru allows you to salvage a Kanokari (かのかり) character, and if you pay her costs, you can gain another filtering effect to grab either another Kanokari character or the event for the level 3 finisher.
Other nice additional beaters to use to maintain hand and field advantage are shown above. The Chizuru to the left is a time machine clone, capable of potentially surviving multiple turns to save hand at the cost of opening a lane. The other Chizuru can be used to turn excess hand into a level 0 character on field, potentially netting you further advantage or a plain beater for the turn.
Speaking of which, the best targets to spawn are shown above. The Chizuru on the left can be ran without its combo. It’s main feat being the potential to bounce back to hand at the start of your opponent’s draw phase to give you more hand. The other card is your brainstorm which works exceptionally well for this eight gate deck, turning gate triggers into additional soul triggers.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the Chizuru above. Similar to the brainstorm shown, this global assist has an ability that procs on the triggering of gates. She can let you filter your deck whenever a gate is triggered, potentially netting a card that can be used the following turn. Furthermore, she pumps all your Chizurus by even more power during your turn.
As for backups, Chizuru’s only choice is the one shown above, but this backup is great as a freefresher, hoping to save you with some additional cancels on the new deck with Chizuru’s smiling expression.
Despite her rather powerful outlook and outwardly appearance, Chizuru truly is a kind-hearted sweetie on the inside. She may not pack the most powerful of punches, but in terms of filtering abilities, Chizuru does have some of the best the set has to offer.
