General Writing Standards

This post will highlight and explain writing concepts and operations. It will be updated as needed.

On translations:
1.) Translations are primarily taken from HeartoftheCards.
2.) If HeartoftheCards is not available, the secondary resource used will be LittleAkiba.
3.) If neither translations are found on these websites, no translation will be provided until these sites have been updated with translations.
4.) If a specific card is not translated with its specified rarity, if the card does exist in another rarity, that card will be sought to take place (temporarily) for the translation of said card. The card must be an exact clone of the other card in terms of card text but with a different visual.
5.) Extra booster cards come in both a foil and non-foil version. As HeartoftheCards as of this writing does not contain the foil version translation, the non-foil version translation shall replace said card.
6.) Translation accuracy is dependent on the source of translations. HeartoftheCards is generally trusted as the main translation provider since it is an official distributor of Weiss product and an official manager of Japanese Weiss tournaments. In the case that a translation is found to be wrong, translations will be either hand translated or removed until said card is translated correctly with personal discretion to be taken.

On site resources:
1.) Decklog acts as the official Bushiroad database for their cards. As such, they are to be used on the site as the sole source of deck-building.
2.) Alternative images for sample images may be used should the original source image on Decklog and the affiliate wsdecks links are unavailable or in too low of a quality to be properly used (personal discretion). Sourcing is still required.

On personal mentions:
1.) All personnel mentioned in this site must be provided consent beforehand for any procedure which provides personal details of any kind. This includes blog announcement on social networks.
2.) All personnel mentioned must be catered to in terms of their personal address and identity in all standards (gender, personal pronouns, etc).
3.) Providing links or mention to a person’s social media must be taken with permission from said person. Always ask for consent.
4.) Should a person revoke their permissions, said permissions shall be removed at earliest availability.
5.) ClockOneDrawTwo is not liable for contact by third parties to those whom share their personal details or social networking information.

On collaborations with other partners:
1.) Collaborations should be communicated with the team in full. Any partnership of any kind must be discussed with the team beforehand before proceeding forward.
