Symphogear – Twins Kirika/Shirabe (G) [11/11/2021]

Kirika and Shirabe are a bonded pair of girls whom were raised together in the same group. They act as close sisters and do everything together. Wielding the power of Igalima (Kirika)and the power of Shul Shagana (Shirabe), the two fight off against the Noise and strive to save the world.

The main goal of this deck is to early play the two above. When either of the Kirika or Shirabe are played through another card’s effect or from hand, you may either draw one and spawn another copy itself or the other or heal. When their climax (card to the right) is played onto the stage, they each gain specialized effects.

SG/W89-027RR lets you check the top two cards of your opponent’s deck and rearrange them when she swings. You may also discard any card into the waiting room. When SG/W89-028RR attacks, you may discard any Music (音楽) character to deal two damage to your opponent (damage can be cancelled). Keep in mind that at least one copy of their respective events, SG/W89-050U or SG/W89-051U must be in the level zone for their effects to resolve.

To early play the respective character, the above cards must be used. Simply to put it, if you want to spawn the 3/2 Kirika, you’ll have to run the 0/0 Kirika above and her specific event for example. Regardless of which, only one version is needed since the 3/2 pair spawns each other.

The conditions and effect wording on SG/W89-050U and SG/W89-051U are essentially the same aside from the character differences. SG/W89-034SR is an on-play discard climax to salvage any Music character. She can also ditch a Music character to fetch her respective event from the deck. SG/W89-035SR lets you potentially hand-fix when she swings. Just like SG/W89-034SR, she can also fetch her event by discarding a Music character.

Since the deck will be running eight bars regardless, these two above are the primary back-row supports for the early game. SG/W89-030SR is extremely important at helping you churn through your deck and filter bars into other more useful targets. SG/W89-031SR is a tap-self brainstorm that supplies an additional +1000 power to one of your characters cross-turn which can be quite useful to potentially save a lane.

There are a number of combos that can be run early for you to choose from. Both SG/W89-032R and SG/W72-021RR are reverse combos that usually stand at 5500 power without any power boost. The difference between them is that SG/W89-032R lets you salvage at the start of your encore step, but you have the leniency of gaining hand whether through reverse or open field. Keep in mind that you must have 5 or less hand to perform its hand gaining effect. SG/W72-021RR lets you immediately salvage upon reverse with its combo. It also lets you power up another character for the turn by 500 power and a level when it reverses with its combo, which helps with further reversing.

SG/W70-036U requires no reverse to accomplish its effect. Additionally, it is usually a 6500 powered beater on its own before any other calculations during your turn. However, your opponent decides the card that you add to hand from its effect.

Regardless of which you choose, the main reason these combos are used are because they all combo with a bar climax for the back-row support. Their respective climaxes are shown below.

Some other nice additions to the deck are shown above. SG/W70-027SR is a Riki-profile that only searches for a character with Kirika or Shirabe in its name. SG/W89-033SR is essentially an upgraded form of SG/W89-030SR that is a level assist as well. It can also tap to give one of your characters with Kirika or Shirabe in its name by 1500 power for the turn. SG/W70-031R is an early play heal if you have four or more Music characters on stage. She can power pump another card’s power by the number of other Music characters on your stage.

As for backups, they are entirely up to you. Depending on your level 1 combo, they can hit some substantial amount of power during both turns. The Kirika on the left is a costless 2000 power backup assuming your defending character is a Music character. Likewise, the center backup is also a 2000 power backup. However, if all your characters are Kirika or Shirabe, you may blind stock the top card of your deck when you use this backup, effectively making it a pseudo costless 2000 power backup. SG/W70-037U is a discard outlet and anti-early play backup.

There are a multitude of different options to play around with in your deck. Take a look and check out all the different choices you can play to suit your play-style. Keep in mind to take note of SG/W89-050U or SG/W89-051U‘s restrictions. Take advantage of your bars and use the twins power to overwhelm your opponent.
