Syaro and Chiya are an iconic duo that love to pull pranks and toy around with one another. Close childhood friends since the dawn of time, this pair grew up together and are always up to the fun antics between them and the rest of their coffee/tea working friends.

The duo consists of purely yellow and green cards which usually have their names attached in the effects of the cards, Syaro (紗路) and Chiya (千夜) respectively. Rather than focusing on the attributes from which many of the cards share anyway, they connect through effects listing each other’s names. As such, rather than focusing on building a deck around the common attributes, a deck with these two should focus on ensuring that there are adequate amounts of character cards with their names on the card title.

Many of the cards usually find some ways to search each other or implement effects based upon one another. That is not to say that all the effects require Syaro or Chiya in name, nor that one has to exactly run only cards that carry the name-trait synergy. There exist other cards that are also strong on their own without such requirements. However, it is important to watch out and ensure that you still meet those cards’ requirements as they may perform attribute checks for their effects.

When it comes to finishers, due to series’ age and number of sets released, there are a plethora of options to choose from. Some of which don’t even require any climax combo allowing you to freely slot them into your deck without worry about considering another requirement for its effects.

As for filter cards and advantage generating effects, the duo has strong access to many of the commonly used profiles and more. There are a vast amount of options between the currently four released booster sets. Not to mention, there are additional promotional cards (PRs) that exist which can also add some more power or flavour to your deck if you so wish.
Again, at the end of the day, it is fully up to the player to decide how they wish to make their deck. It is possible to include other colours or other characters into the mix if a player so wishes, though it may be a little hard considering the large chunk of cards that do carry the name trait requirements. Overall, if you’re a fan of the series, Syaro and/or Chiya, or even maybe the synergistic potential between the two, pick up and deck and give them a shot. COFFEE or GREEN TEA.
